Hotlanta is truly living up to its nickname this month. Saint Gene, my mother and I went to the Midtown Stroll Sunday in Atlanta and the temperature was brutal. Thank goodness that Atlanta is a city of trees and has an organization called Trees Atlanta that plants trees in every open spot they can find. Those wonderful little trees provided much needed shade during our "stroll". Saint Gene and I enjoyed the outing and I think my mother did too. (The best part was the free popsicles!).
