Praying Mantis

I promised a picture of the Praying Mantis. Here it is. Not a very good picture but you can tell what it looks like. The wings are made from some sort of blade, the neck and back are made from metal shovel parts and the remainder is made from iron rebar. It's about 2 feet long. The strange thing is that it is so NOT me but I just love it!!! I'm not a big lover of "garden art" but I just had to have this. Now I just have to find the right place for it.

He IS awesome!!!!! My husband does welding and I've been trying to talk him into making some of these fun lawn-art pieces.

I was just in your neck of the woods a few weeks ago, Ernie! We were in Atlanta visiting family. They live in Marietta and I think the area was called Indian Ridge. It was an absolutely gorgeous 4 days! We went to the Georgia Aquarium, an Indian PowWow, a go-kart-video game place for the kids, visited all my sil's coworkers at Bell South, and just enjoyed relaxing. Of course I totally undid my diet while there, but whatever. I discoverd I really don't care much for fried green tomatoes and okra, but love a pizza place called the Wild Mushroom (I think that was it!).
