Well, we're still spending a lot of time hanging out at the hospital. My brother is still in ICU but we expect him to be moved to a regular room tomorrow. This is an ordeal that I wouldn't wish on anyone. His lung was operated on Tuesday, a week ago. He was moved from ICU to a regular room last Thursday afternoon around 3 p.m. but had difficulty breathing around 3 a.m. Friday morning and was moved back to ICU. In that short timespan he had developed massive pneumonia in one lung and a culture showed that he also had one of those hospital super bugs you read about. He was in very dangerous condition - he almost went into sepsis. And now Friday, a week later he is still in ICU. But the high-powered antibiotics seem to have done their job and the doctors are very pleased with his progress. The emotional wringer we've been through is almost unbelievable.But he's getting better so I'm happy.

I just wanted to let you know Ernie that I keep you and your brother in my prayers at this difficult times. I'm glad to hear that he's better now and hope that all will be fine from now and that soon you will be able to spend more time with him.
