It felt so good to be creative last weekend. I love working with polymer clay but sometimes it takes a little kick in the you-know-what to get me going. Working with the sparkplug that is Christi Friesen (I'll bet the woman never sleeps!) was just the thing. Her endless energy, enthusiasm and joy in her medium makes her classes so much fun and so inspirational that you just can't help yourself - You just have to enjoy and create. I wish the colors in the photo were a little more true to the piece - the foundation is a variegated blue-green-turquoise marbled mixture and the leaves are much more "leaf" green - but overall you get the idea. I'm going to enjoy wearing this. Joy Journal: Creative energy
