Had a few extra minutes so decided to post a second photo today. I took this in my yard last weekend. It's so hard to believe that this beautiful hydrangea bloom still remains this late in November. It's the only bloom remaining on the bush and the bush itself was a volunteer that grew on it's own after it's parent had been moved to another location.  It's been a beautiful weather month, mostly warm and mostly dry. And that has allowed this beautiful bloom to remain. In it's prime it was sky blue but has faded to lavenders and greens. A soft, quiet beauty that I've enjoyed every day.  Soon the cold will come and this bloom will turn brown.  But I've been blessed to be able to enjoy it for so long.

Hi Ernie!

Thanks so much for coming to my blog and for the little bit of encouragement!! Made my day!

I just LOVE this hydrangea! Gorgeous. I tried to grow these in my old house and failed miserably. Of course, now I know that I put it in a bad spot, so maybe I should try again. If it will stick around until November for you, perhaps I could get it to stay until October in the NW!!
